First blog!

Ok, so this is an exciting experience for me! actually, i don't know what to write here, but i'll figure it out. right?
today was an exciting day! kinda... haha. the therapist came today to help Joy and then Becca was going to go over to her cousin's house, but her aunt couldn't pick her up so we walked over. did i mention that it's about a 1 1/2 mile hike over to their house from here? oh yes. so there it was, 10:30ish in the morning, not a cloud in the sky. the sun was beating down on us and the breeze decided to play hide-and-seek or something, cause it totally wasn't there. we walked down the street in the shade (provided by the neighborhood trees), but then we hit the grassy creek area with NO trees. i learned today that pushing a stroller through tall grass in the TX heat/sun is not fun. haha. so i guess i walked about 3 miles this morning. pretty cool :)
the girls and i made a treat today involving powder sugar, gram crackers, peanut butter, and chocolate. it was pretty good, but SUPER sweet. something you might just take little bites at a time.
Becca and i made supper. this chiciken pot pie stuff. it's pretty yummy! i just finished my last bite and am watching Hotel for Dogs with the Turpins. i like it so far! i wanted to see it when it first came out, but i didn't want to pay $8 for it. ya know?
tomorrow is KHS graduation! i don't know how excited i am to go, but i'm supportive of Drew and Geoff and Daniel :) the Curtis family are driving me to and from. i think i get to spend part of the afternoon with them, so that should be fun. it's my last day with Drew before he leaves for BYU on Sunday at 4pm, two weeks before school starts. yeah, totally not impressed with the leaving early part, but you take what you get and make the best of it, right? hmmm,
yeah. kay, well, i'm going to finish the movie now and continue to text Jakob who is bored at a party. hehe. poor guy.
