2:58am on a school night

yup! i woke up super early so that I could see the royal wedding. turns out, it took them an hour to get to the Westminster Abbey and begin the hour. then the ceremony took about an hour. then everything was slowly moved to the palace. yes, I was 1/2 asleep...it was beautiful though.
the one thing that had me do a double take was when a...I think he was a priest... was giving his speech. he said that the couple have been married "in the sight of a generous God, whom so loved the world that He gave Himself to us in the person of Jesus Christ." I sat on the couch 1/2 asleep and now very confused. maybe he mixed up his words or something...?
I wanted to stand up and say that our Heavenly Father sent His son, Jesus Christ, to this earth. I wanted to open up the Bible and show him John 3:16-17, the scripture that everyone seems to know (For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved). but then I remembered that they believe in the trinity. the confusion faded away, but the desire to stand up and share to the world what I know to be true was still burning bright.
I think Kate looked absolutely gorgeous that day! they are so very adorable. I was very glad that I woke up so that I could watch this "fairytale" wedding. and if my kids ever ask me about that event, I can tell them what I got to see :)

May they live happily ever after.
